Kieran the wolf, attention engineers in engineering room
Kieran managed to look somewhat guilty as he quickly donned his uniform and followed his boss into the panel. He looked around a bit at the machinery that he was going to be helping keep in working order. He hadn't gotten to get a look at it before this and was quite impressed. The thoughts of the coming lecture about his tardiness flew from his mind as he heard Em call out instructions.
"Yes, sir!" he responded smartly and hurried off to start working. He went from panel to panel, working quickly. Though he was very excited to finally be getting properly into getting ready to launch, he managed to keep it well contained and to keep his focus on the job at hand. In a few minutes, he back to Em.
"All panels and devices are ready to go, Boss!"
He looked up to where Em was standing and noted the lemur standing near him. That must be Elliot. Looks like she might be getting to start the engines, lucky lemur. Kieran would have liked to have such an honor himself, but he wasn't terribly disappointed. He was likely on one of the lowest rungs of the ladder, but he didn't mind. Regardless of his position, this would be an interesting trip and he was very glad that he'd been accepted.
Kaeruen the fox, attention no one, unless you want to bother a not nice drunk
Kaeruen moaned and slowly sat up. Her head spun a bit, but it was nothing that she wasn't used to. She tried to read the numbers on her watch, but gave up after a few moments. Holding one hand to her aching head, she slowly got to her feet. She stayed put for a moment, waiting for the room to catch up with her, then slowly shuffled her way to her bed. It would be time to take off soon, and she wanted to watch out the window over her headboard.
Damn, I probably should've waited til later to drink so much.
Muttering unintelligibly to herself, she plopped down on her bed, and pulled her boots off. Next to come off were the rest of her clothes. She stuggled a bit to get her nighty on the right way, but once she did, she crawled the rest of the way up onto her bed. She knew she wouldn't be any good to anyone for anything until the following morning, so she saw no reason for her to stay in public clothing. She made herself comfortable on her bed, propping herself up on the headboard so she could see out the window. Once they'd launched, she would slide into bed and promptly pass out.
| yeah..i'm back... |

At the bridge [Yoko | 16 | Japanese Bobtail | pilot] "Regrettable Yoko is rate!"
Little voice rang as the feline rushed through the door and stepped in line next to Siasia. A cat and dog working together? This would be intersting. She nodded her head vigoruosly at Herald's words, hardly able to contain her exsitement. Yoko coldn't wait to try out the cnotrols and get started on her job. Her little tailed twitched and her tiny paws balled up as she held them up to her trembling whiskers.
Heterochromic eyes examined this Nigel individual. The groundhog looked so funny so she took an imediate liking to him. Total opposite of Siasia, Yoko offerred an energetic handshake and greeted him rowdily.
"Hajimemashite! I Yoko, de pirot! Dis is so awesome, ret us get staated! Do I sit down somewhea~?" At the arboretum [Mei | 15 | Polypay Sheep | cook] Docile sheep tasted sticky and sweet, like cotton candy, marshamllow and strawberry cheesecake. The look of absent blissfulness upon her face equally matched her thoughts. She went over ot Sela and took her uniform from her.
"Thank you~"
Her voice ecchoed sweetly. Hoofs brushed over her embroided name dreamily. Pulling the white chef's coat over her dress, standing at the ready, to get aquainted with the kitchen and her tools.
At the Bar [Sayari | 22 | Sealpoint Ragdoll | mortician] With Seven blocking the way into the bar, and the culprit still on the loose in the bowels of the ship, there wasn't much the feline could do but sit there and wait for it all to be over. This could take some time, she thought. She listened to the chatty chicken and pulled out a mini dictionairy, gazing into it to make sure she was getting everything right with that drawl of hers. No, she wasn't lonely, she had Tomeo, she thought. And she didn't need anybody else.
Blue gaze raised from the book to Jessie with that same stoic expression, more unreadable thoughts running through her head, but none coming to surface on her lips. She would listen more to what the chicken had to say before considering a reply.

((OOC: Attn: Ilya, Sayari, people in the bar, Fizz, Kieran, other engineers. Tell me if I miss anyone!))
Kat stopped as well, staring up at the wall that was Seven. "Alright now, who put this door here!" She poked Seven's back, who responded with a grunt, turning to look at the two of them. The beast still blocked the door however. "If you do not mind, the little pup and I would like to enter, please." Kat showed no fear in the face of this massive creature, she simply smiled and waited. Seven hesitated, looking over her shoulder at the doors where Doyle entered, then simply nodded and moved aside. Whatever was happening was handled for the moment. Kat led Ilya through the now unoccupied door and to a table, plopping him down soundly. "Now wait here, and I shall get us our treats!" She sauntered up to the bar and called out to the person currently on duty, with authority. "I would like two large sundaes, the biggest you have!"
Elliot returned the wink, moving to a central station to begin inspection and tweaking of certain engine systems. Fingers flew across the touch pads, eyes flicking back and forth rapidly, tail twitching at odd moments. It was one of her lesser recognised talents, speed reading. She would stop randomly, editing some system, then the list would be off again. At one point she barked out an order without looking up. "I need someone to check the injectors, one of them seems to be misaligned! And YOU!" She finally looked up and pointed at Kieran specifically. "Get on the diffuser coils! Make sure they're hooked up correctly or we'll be in for a shock when I hit the button!" It probably was odd to hear her speak with such authority given her usual personality, but she wasn't messing around. It was a dangerous procedure, firing these up, something that with any luck will only have to be done ONCE, now.
Oh, Jessie did continue alright, swivelling back to the counter. " 'E was a good guy an' ahl, but ther were times Ah saw the sad sadness in 'is eyes. Not much Ah culd do though, 'cept spend time wit' 'im." She got up, patting Sayari on the back gently. "Remember, always someone aroun' if yeh need ta talk." She gave her a smile and headed straight for the door, nodding to Kat and then to Seven as she passed by. "Same ta you, ya wall a' muscle." Seven only grunted. With that, Jessie was gone.
Sia took her uniform and slipped away. She was good at that, would make her useful later on in her position, when she could clean without anyone noticing she was there. She did follow a different, out of the way route down to engineering however, intending to keep an eye on that smaller red ant. When she arrived she stuck out of the way in a corner, however it was likely someone would notice her anyway.

ARBORETUM: Lemur Louis and Hyena Shani (Attn: Solomon, Jonas) Being grabbed so suddenly by the sleeve and pulled along with such strength, Louis was in slight shock and believed that he may have committed some sort of crime, particularly pertaining to Amy. "I didn't touch 'er, I swear!" he blurted as he dangled after Jonas like a marionette, tripping over his own feet.
Shani was taken aback by the medic's change in tone and pitch; wide-eyed, not sure what has caused such a reaction, she turned around to locate the mistreatment. The Indri looked like he may have had some serious matter to attend to, by the stoic look on his face, but the red-bellied lemur he had in tow was indeed an out of place sight. Shani felt like disappearing and shrinking away into the shadows, having someone else deal with this; but her conscience got the best of her and it looked like conflict was unavoidable. Taking a deep breath and releasing it in a sigh, the hyena quickly approached Jonas, holding out a paw to catch his attention. "Uh... um, excuse me, but do you have business with that gentleman?" she indicated at Lou, who was no bigger than herself and possibly even skinnier. She noticed that he wasn't in uniform of any sort or color. "If he did not receive a direct order from the captain," she continued, "I don't think you should be forcing him anywhere."
Octopus Souley (Attn: Kitchen staff) Souley was quite pleased with his staff, and almost aglow like Sela, which was mostly evident by the addition of pinks and yellows into his deep red skin. Out of everyone that he's tasted, he liked Sela's flavor the most by far; it felt so familiar and personal. Once everyone was set and ready to go, he stood at the head of the line, turned about face, and pointed at his back with his "thumbs", where a mark began to form. "A'right yu all, Cole, Mei, um..." he cast a glance at the honey-bee's uniform, pon which his name was embroidered. "Goldenrod. Just fallow di target." The mark took full form by now and appeared bright and crisp in the form of a yellow cone with an exclamation on it. Lightly swaying back and forth, the octopus glided off the stage and guided the kitchen crew members down a clean, paved path, leading down to an alternate exit out of the arboretum.
Once he got down to the large and roomy kitchen, lined with state of the art appliances and emitting no scents besides lemony freshness, he remembered how comfortable he was back in his small and cozy kitchen, and wondered if this kitchen would ever feel right to him. There was a door in the back leading to the Galley freeze storage, and one just to the right leading to the Galley office, where the kitchen staff could do paperwork, keep records, access the main computer, and hold meetings.
Peahen Vidya (Attn: Scientists, people on stage) At Stryke's remark about the incompetence of her bodyguard, Vidya was secretly affronted. She couldn't help but agree with the hedgehog, however, that the big kitty didn't always know when to keep his mouth shut, and replied with her own shrill and drawn out 'Oh-ho-ho-ho' laugh, placing the back of her hand up against her beak oh so elegantly.
"Ah, mine is Mineralogy. A constant supply of resources will be vital to us on this journey." The bird flicked her head towards Bharat and arched an eyebrow when he chuckled to himself around that point, speculating what he found to be so funny. When her bodyguard snapped out of his daydreams, she looked up to the exit Orpheus took a while ago, and then back at Stryke. As she did so, she was intrigued to find what looked to be a very small bear, poking around the hedgehog girl's pockets. With a look of slight shock, she raised one wing, pointing a feathered finger at the perpetrator robbing the candy of its virginity; not to direct the attention of the people onstage, no – she didn't care much for anything that didn't directly concern her, but from the sheer astonishment that someone would go about stealing in broad daylight like that. Before she could gather enough bearings to utter a word, the crime was already committed and the bear was on her way.
Not much time had passed after that before Vidya began to grow restless, tapping her talons against the podium floor. With her wings crossed in front of her chest, she began to pace back and forth. When the entirety of the culinary staff had left the stage, she threw up her wings and trilled heatedly, "That's it! I am not going to wait until the head of research decides to grace us with his presence and start ordering his s-s-s-subordinates!" she stuttered, finding it self degrading to call herself a subordinate of such a leader, who left without giving them a word of direction and has not returned for god knows how long. Luckily, she already knew the lab in and out, being among the first people to board the ship. It was time to take matters into her own hands.
"Listen up, people!" she encouraged, after subduing her temper. "Strap on your uniforms, if you haven't done so already, cause I, Vidya Sonar, am going to take you to the research lab. And I am going to show you to your equipment. I will also try to answer all questions until our dear ex-captain becomes available again~" The self-proclaimed 'substitute-head of research' finished her speech with a radiant smile and went to pick up the remaining uniforms. "Lucer, Namika, Gabriella..." she started calling off names of the scientists who haven't made themselves present on stage yet. The peahen would rather hear from Orpheus about stealing his spotlight (which, in truth, she enjoyed), but get herself and the others to work, than wait around to have him lecture them for their indolence.
Caterpillar Celuna (Attn: Lucer, Captain) Lucer was, of course, a little preoccupied with the giant caterpillar trying to make her way down him. Celuna apologized profusely, both in English and Italian, as she hurried to get her footing on solid soil. After a couple of repentant bows to the armadillo, she went on her way.
When she reached her place of designation, she set to work right away. Unlike the other system managers, she worked rather slowly, but she did so meticulously and with thought put behind every action, gently sweeping her fingers over the console. Firing up the jump systems was what she lived to do; and after the Harbinger's launch, she would have next to no purpose on this ship, except maybe as an assistant janitor.
BAR: Tame fox Ilya and Possum Nellie (Attn: Ben, Seven, Kat, people at the bar) Nellie stared up at the ginormous Seven and then glanced back to the bear with a smirk. "It's alright, hon. This hyar new door has opened fo' us. Ain't thet right?" she asked, looking up to Seven and giving her bulky body a pat as the possum entered her own bar.
Ilya had gone in with Kat and was now waiting for her at a table, wagging his tail excitedly and barely able to keep himself still in the chair. Tasty treats were just the way to win this little pup's heart. But in the back of Ilya's curious mind was that girl he caught a glimpse of as he was leaving the arboretum. Maybe she would have liked to join them for a sundae too? Suddenly, Ilya's view was shadowed by a pair of missiles heading his way. He cringed and flailed as Nellie pressed him into her cleavage. "Now, ain't ya a cutie-pie?"
Hearing Kat's order, Nellie perked up and waved to the other bartender, who served Kaeruen earlier, and shouted across the room to him, "Pour some rum into this feller's sundae, will ya? Mah treat!" She finally pulled him out of her airbags and ruffled his hair.
ENGINEERING ROOM/DECK: Porcupine Em (Attn: Lynn, captain, engineers, engines) Em followed all of the engineers' actions with his eyes as they immediately set out to work. The young raccoon looked to be one of the least experienced among his workers, thus Em paid the most ardent attention to her, practically from over her shoulder. His attention was turned aside, however, by the speedy return of the wolf. So speedy, in fact, that the porcupine was pleasantly surprised at his capability. "Good job, Sparky!" he dubbed him, finding that that nickname suited the wolf really well. On the other hand, he also caught the lupine's eyes on Elliot, and he couldn't say that it didn't make him at least a little bit jealous. If only Kieran had known that, in his level of expertise, he ranked practically just below Elliot herself.
Elliot's first order was answered by a small mouse girl with golden blonde hair, who neither learned in Cambridge University, University of Oxford nor Sorbonne University, but had a high level of knowledge, which allowed her to figure out machines even foreign to her. Quickly moving to check on the injectors, she set her brilliant mind to work on re-aligning it. As Elliot next commanded the wolf-man, Emmanuel was approached by Lynn. He looked up at the giant insect with a bit of a start, but quickly composed himself. "Uh... yeah, get on that right away! We don't want any mishaps." The mention of "potential damage" and "accidents" wasn't having a good affect on the porcupine. Should he take a pill now? He tried to mentally fight off his panic with tranquil, scenic views of the mountains when Bian's voice rang in through the PA. Em grabbed for his datapad and updated the status report. Right after that, the captain's request sounded over the PA and Em pulled out a receiver with his other paw. "Yes sir, you'll have the status report in a minute!" Setting the datapad down with a semi-relieved sigh, Em turned to Elliot. "When you're done, will ya send the finished report up to the cap'n, hun?" Without any justification as to where he was heading, Em left the engineering room.
He kicked back in a chair in the engineering office adjacent to the main room. He thought he would manage to relax here, but that wasn't the case. Em began to quickly grow restless. This happened when he wasn't occupied with any work. With a curt frown, he pushed back out of the chair and wandered the room a bit before deciding where he wanted to go. The hangar deck: the place where he first ran into Mikari. He cast his glance on the fighter she was checking out earlier. He walked over and peeked into its starboard engine bay to see that everything was in perfect order. With a light smirk, he leaned on his elbow against a wall, brushing his claws through his greasy hair, as he began to think of a way he could test the coon.

Attention: Whoever wants to hop in and join Z and his little rag tag group of friend. XD
Arbortoreum: Zaos chuckled a bit as he grabbed his friends and maneuvered the trio to a quiet place along one of the walls of the room, flopping down and leaning back taking a deep breath for a moment before letting out an equally large sigh, pushing a paw into his pants pocket, fishing out his little sketchpad and pencil as he flipped to a blank page and began doodling, Tyler and Zain flopping down to either side of him.
"So booooooooored...." Zain said, laying his head back against the wall, closing his eyes.
"I'll say." Tyler muttered a bit, smiling and adjusting his glasses with a finger, pushing the hair from his eyes afterwords, watching Zaos doodle. "Whatcha drawin Z?"
"Not much, just doodling quick sketches of people in the room for no reason in particular." He smiled, his tail wagging a bit. Art being one of the few things that really calmed him, his eyes darting between people in the room and his sketchpad.

Gabriella (white mouse)
[ATTN: Kalte, Kepora, anyone]
Despite the adrenaline fueling her anger towards the hyena, when he chased after her and proceeded to carry on, she let him speak; albeit with a glare in her eyes. She considered it a last chance for the flaming asshole to cool off and help better both their images, which she was sure were both equally marred. Hers more than his, because she’d never gone off the handle so readily as she did when she first laid eyes of him. It seemed he just had a face one loved to hate. A personality one loved to hate, as well. And from what she had gleaned from the weeks of research she put into her decision to accept the invitation aboard the Harbinger, his image was suffering long before he assaulted her.
Still walking and still letting him speak, Gabby was becoming quite agitated by his continued manner. It seemed that even when given the opportunity to speak his fill, he was only capable of producing derogatory filth. Tightening the grip on her suitcase, her posture sagged slightly in exasperation.
As they were coming to a T-shaped junction of corridor Orpheus suddenly sped up and swerved in front of her, causing the small mouse to recoil defensively, almost expecting another attack; and in a nearly deserted hallway no less. However, he opted to resume speaking instead. Somewhat disarmed, she quickly recovered and squinted in frustration at his arrogance.
Placing one delicate pink paw in the middle of his chest, she hustled him up against the wall of the junction, and leaned toward him… regrettably requiring her to stand on her toes and crane her neck upwards to meet his face.
“Did you just threaten my life, ‘sir’?” she asked rhetorically. “I don’t give a fuck who you or your father are, or what your company has accomplished or is trying to accomplish, or the pathetic immaterial tenure you’re putting on the line. You know what you’re putting on the line? People’s lives. Not their ‘livelihood’, their fucking lives. This whole fucking ‘exploratory mission’ of yours could wind up one eventual suicide mission. And where will that leave you? Hundreds of lives on your head. And I don’t give a flying fuck if you don’t care about a single person aboard this vacuum tube, but if this whole elaborate, foolhardy and headstrong mission goes wrong, your name and your company and that of your father will go down in history as the greatest disaster to ever befall civilization.”
She stopped to shake her head. “Your head is so far up your own ass I’m sure to you it may seem the other way around. You need to learn a little compassion for your fellow people, instead of being such a dick.” Dropping back down, she was reminded of how small she was.
The data-pad in Orpheus’ hand required the print identification of the detainee. The security guard had apparently neglected to acquire it from her. She promptly took it from the taller hyena, provided it with the information it required and handed it back. “If I’m to be punished for my juvenile maneuver earlier, you all know where to find me.” Turning away, she started down the left corridor.
----------------
The security guard, watching the coyote’s retreat and despite the irony of Kalte’s presence, let out a wolf whistle at Sukira’s ‘fine behind’. He shook his head, chuckling. “Damn, that’s a fine lass right there. Def’nitely a keeper.”
Eyes trailing back to the wolf, he quickly changed his attitude with a rough throat-clearing. “Ahem!.. Right. The detainee.” Turning to his security station he called to one of the other guards; the result, a smaller, tired-looking koala emerging with another data-pad which he quickly pawned off on the much larger bear before retreating. “Here’s another copy, sir. Just needs a print-verification of the detainee, signing officer, and your signature—“ The data-pad beeped promptly cut in to update with Gabby’s print. “Make that just your print and signature, sir.”
OOC: I'll write for my other chars just as soon as I can garner the motivation to do so. So many apologies.

((Sorry for the delay, guys; mid-terms and such.))
Col. Felix (ATTN: Tropi, Doyle)
"Hounds? Hmph." He turned and brought his hands together, popping his knuckles. "Just get them to keep him trapped..." He ordered before dashing off again, leaving the bar at full tilt, lunging down the hallways when he could, dropping level by level on his way to deal with the offender...
Lynn (ATTN: anyone in engineering)
The moment that the wasp's request had been approved, her wings began to buzz and she lifted offof the ground, seemingly defying gravity as she turned and ascended, heading towards the upper airlock to gear up.
Upon entry, she removed the jumpsuit used for interior work, opening a locker and exchanging it for the exo-variant. She knew her carapace could hold up to the vacuum of space, but her joints...not so much. two pairs of gloves went on, the wasp making sure each one interlocked with the sleeves of the suit itself before grabbing the rebreather. Due to her anatomy, hers was different from others'; she opened her mouth wide and "swallowed" a tube, essentially intubating herself before securing the straps. Finally, she added the Hard Pack-the part of the suit that supplied life support, thrusters and the likes. It closed around her chest, a large raised "collar" protecting her neck and the back of her head, as well as containing multiple displays on the inside. The back protruded, a number of multi-directional thrusters in place to keep her from floating off into space.
Once everything was attached and the diagnostics returned green, she stepped into the airlock proper, placing her two left hands on ladder rungs, her right ones reaching over and activating the controls. the inner door sealed, the room depressurized, and then the outer hatches slowly opened. She began to climb up the ladder, feeling rather awkward as one part of her body was in a gravitational field while the other was not. Once oriented outside of the ship, though, she activated her thrusters, making her way up the comms tower as she inspected it...
Kaien (ATTN: Mizzy) *Awaiting post for Prof. Hangar*
Orpheus (ATTN: Mizzy, Bridge, Senior Science Officers)
He had intended to end it then and there, but...
"You see, you just hit on a major point." He replied, following again. "THAT'S why I'm getting so damn worked up. These people-these...idiots-don't seem to realize what they've gotten themselves into, and I for one am not too keen on the idea of dying because someone else has their head up their ass!"
He continued for a moment, then stopped, sighing and rubbing his forehead. "...Whatever...just..." He sighed again. "Just PLEASE prove to me that I was right to chose you if one of those ignoramuses doesn't manage to blow us up. I need to go tend to something..." He turned around and then took a left, going back down the pathway they had originally come from. He pulled out his datapad again, opening a line with all of the heads of the science department-including the mouse he had just finished speaking with. "Status report."

Bandit and The Sentinel Cerberus (Attn: Felix, Doyle and Bian)
“Order Denied, Previous commands have been issued and will be followed through with.” Came the cold resound of his bionic voice, Bandit wanted the infiltrator alive for questioning, not mauled to such extremes that his appearance would be unspeakable and in a state of cold decay... Nor Was Bandit short of self neglect to high-hat the hot tempered cyber commando. For Samson was not a proper fit for giving a proper and just judgement upon Doyle. Whereas Captain Herald can and will deduct the fate of the soon to be caught feline. Be it remaining upon the ship under strict probation, or release onto the next space station into custody for illegally boarding a space vessel.
After watching Felix leave, Bandit walked with a serene grace back to the Labs, the requirement for fast running left wear and tear on the pistons inside his legs, and one of the shocks felt damaged. He now required the expert touch of his repairwoman.
---
Faster than Felix, what was essentially the K9s of the ship were weaving intricately at impossible speeds through caverns and crevices of metallurgy, pipes pumping steam and fuel electrical roadways of wires and conduits. Passing like Lymph Gazelles through the unseemly souse plateau of the lower levels Their sensors twitching and turning on a dime as they make a map of their new “playground”, lights flickering in their black bulbous domes with a sort of infatuation for their onus, like puppies that have been tossed their favorite bone.
Which was about to enter its post stages in 3... 2.... 1---
A Sudden intense force impacted with Doyle like a hyperborean blast in a brilliant blur of mechanics and zooid organism and a hymn of clicks and rapid chittering. Now attempting to wrestle him down was an android plad in armor plates of glaring white, red, jarring lights and black armature that makes half of it almost seem like it’s a bunch of white, though grey in the jagannath of illumination, panels floating in midair. Soon, more of these things were joining their alpha to dog-pile their victim. Long skeletal hands digging and clawing at him to be a bane to his vitality, to weaken him for easier handling.
=====
The Aforementioned bears (Attn Lab wing/staff and Orpheus)
Dr. Tecessa was busy attending to something else when Orpheus’ impatient call chimed in on his datapad, leaving a lethargic black mound of fuzz to respond. First the nose moved, and the mound shifted slowly up to the table, raising like a small monument of black and cream brown fur with oily locks of red falling in front of a skull-ish marking on the face. A thick arm raised slightly to press the on button. Leaving Orpheus to only view what looked like a spectacled bear nose.
Upon hearing Orpheus’ seemingly constantly whiny voice she raised her head enough for that skull face to stare back.
“Oh is a mini Dr. Harold...” she said rather plainly, picking up the datapad, flipping it about and raising it to her face and tottered over slowly in a sort of drunken daze over to what first appeared to be a solid black wall swapping the black for a clean white. Making a soft snort to divert the towering being’s attentions from coats to the electronic screen. “What is it NOW, Genevieve? Can you not wait one second for your nanites—“ One Sharp red eye, almost glowing, suddenly glared in a mass of pitch black with a white nose and yellow lines down the length of his muzzle from his eyes.
“Oh, Orpheus, what do you require?”
“He wants a status report.” She said in a mockery of the hyena’s voice, gaining her father’s unhumored glare. “I see...” he replied tartly, taking the Datapad as if saving a precious object from the child’s potential further obnoxious musings.
“The Lab’s Microbiological wing is in the same, if not similar state it was furnished into. And a word of advice, ask about the status of the science wing, of which are in very capable hands, AFTER we leave the docking bay, Orpheus.” He said each word so dryly and plainly that the irritability with the sudden interferance in his work was deathly obvious. “For I assure you. If you were that concerned about the labs and had your head in the right place, you wouldn’t have stormed off to attend to an insignificant misshap. And instead would be here, Acting like you’re father expects you to. With Maturity.” he ended with an even more frigid tone. Ending the transmission between the incompetent youth and himself, returning to his work of opening a box, withdrawing a medical serum jar and syringe, and summoning Genevieve back from across the sterile white microbiology lab so she can receive her shot.

<Since there were complains about lack of movement... Everything with permission, of course.>
Jonesy, rat. <AT: Emmanuel Dubois>
Quote:| The hangar deck: the place where he first ran into Mikari. |
|
Em's thoughts were interrupted by a shout.
- Hey, fluffy-k'n!
Either that was a badly mangled "-kun", or equally badly mangled "-kin". Anyway, it seemed to refer to the porcupine, so he turned around.
The shouting person was a rat. Short, grey, wearing blue jean suit and smiling. And yes, he was addressing Emmanuel.
- I'm looking for a guy named Emma Noel, I s'pose he's tall and slim, wears a beret and a thin moustache and replies to "Miss Yer Dew Boo-wah". Head of engineering, or something. Last seen going here to the hangar, any chance you noticed him?
The rat walked fast and talked even faster. He approached Em in no time and stopped just on the edge of "too close". Smiling widely, the rat looked straight into Em's eyes.

Killan Allmen, black eagle. <AT: Darfix Panzer>
Quote:| He looked around a bit, coughing slightly under his breath, and backing away from the crowd. He'd do the kindly thing and hang onto the bra--as she asked, but he wanted to do it with less eyes on him. Besides, the crowd had already been helped to their feet by the look of things... |
|
There was another pilot avoiding the crowd. A black eagle walked, in a mix of a determined stride and a leasurely pace, towards the very same exit by wich Darfix stood. Fortunately for the fox, the exit was between the pilots. The bird would just walk out, hopefully without noticing neither Darfix nor the lingerie in his hand.
The eagle approached the exit. His vector changed slightly, and instead of walking through the door, the bird walked past them. There was no "Free Birdseed" stand along that vector, no "Wingman Monthly" magazines or beautifull swan princesses, only a confused and mildly embarrassed...
- Captain Panzer. - The eagle bowed and stood "at attention". - Killian Allmen reporting, sir. I was heading to take a look at the fighters, and thought you might consider the same.
| Remember: anything you say can, and eventually will, be used against you.
