YES! This will continue. I'm rewriting the story, actually XD I saw too many places with plot holes, and I wanna fill it up. Plus there will be a certain cameo of a new species, which I believe only Shani and Reggie know about

A survivor, basically. I won't give away too much.

So yeah, this thing isn't dead, it's just being bandaged. Don't worry, it'll get cruzin' again.

I know I would be. Because the only problem I have with the SW RP is being restricted by the SW Universe of which I know next to nothing about. X3

Yea, it'd be basically like SW but with people's own aliens and own ideas, without the restrictions or even a history to learn; that can be done along the way.
The only prollum I have is thinking up what kind of rules should there be. Would you have to fill out the full info on your own races? Or would there be a rule against making them too powerful and thus godmoding or being the alien equivalents of Mary-Sues?

In fact me and her have been working on our own alien RP idea for a while, but have yet to find a place to implement it. X3 The last group we tried it in was taken over by bad writers and has since devolved from there, so we quit a while back. >.>

As for how to go about creating races, I suggest a 'front' from that would contain more basic details and then a more indepth form that can be filled out at the creator's leisure as time progresses.

Freeform games left to their own devices will invariably become corrupted by and overrun with godmoding twinks who want the baddest badass of them all, don't care about plot--and will consequently trample all over it, and who only want to go out and prove that their badassery is more badass than your badassery.

So you'll want some kind of hard-and-fast rules in place...

I might play in something like that, but Star Wars and Galactica have my primary interest. Sorry. X3

Well I just told Shani this, keep in mind that the Star Wars universe is large, and proven to have sentient life on other planets. New species can crop up on a regular basis. You could just add them in with no issue if you wanted. I'm moderating, so I can always tell you if it's not appropriate

Also, you don't have to wait for me. You guys can always start your own stories XD

While guided by certain Star Wars themes, this can still be considered a sort-of general science fiction area. The Star Wars universe is very broad, where new things are introduced daily and anything can happen.
