Full Name: 1st Lt. William Cunneen
Honorifics/Nicknames: Liam
Gender: Male
Age: 24
Birthday: June 9 (Gemini)
Height: 6'0"
Weight: 152 lbs
Species: Irish Mountain Hare
Eye color: Green with specks of hazel
Fur color: Wolf grey and white
Hair color: Brown head fur
Markings: Black ear tips
Alignment: Lawful Neutral
General Appearance:
Cyberization: Medium - has an enhanced cyberbrain, giving him many advanced technological abilities, such as the ability to address more than one cyborg body simultaneously, rapid learning capabilities, and the incorporation of computational elements not found in most normal beings.
Vernacular: Has a very faint, melodic, Irish accent, more of which creeps in when he is annoyed, angry, upset or excited, but he seldom raises his voice. He speaks at a slightly fast pace, but enunciates well, and overall, has a medium-high pitch.
Personality: Socially, Liam is very friendly, sincere and talkative, with his own distinct sense of humor, which few can understand, but he is a socially inept "Mr. Literal", seeming to live in his own world exempt from those he's talking to.
Mentally, he's a genius, with there being little to no problems he can't solve, as long as those problems can be numerically calculated, that is. He is governed by logic and finds no trouble in putting his thoughts into words, making him an eloquent and skilled speaker. However, this leaves him with no intuition or "gut feeling" and, in general, he's not very perceptive to the emotions of others.
Physically, this puts him in a delicate situation, as he can be the target of bullies, or simply not sense danger when it's there. Spending his life in front of computers, he's not too keen on the workings of the real world, and probably wouldn't be able to live on his own, without food being served to him.
Likes: Science, math, numbers, weather, the news, punctuality, and the colors black, grey, white, and green.
Dislikes: Water. So much that he only uses dry shampoo sprays and hand sanitizers.
History: Liam grew up in the town of Loughrea. His father was in prison and his mother in an asylum, for one reason or another, so he doesn't remember them very well. His twin sister, Mor, was the one taking care of the family. Although she looked like a tough, pub-frequenting goth and was quick to ire, she was a kind and caring big sister who enjoyed cooking, loved children, and oft dreamed of finding a good husband. His younger hooligan of a brother, Cian, was the Irish equivalent of a redneck, more or less. He smoked (much to Mor's chagrin), often didn't come home, and was possibly mixed in some shady jobs. Liam's youngest sister, Ailis, was a typical teen. Not very bright, boy-crazy, given to crushes and romantic fantasies, with a strong appetite for candy and other sugary foods, and a wardrobe in pink and leopard print. Liam himself was the nerd of the family. He couldn't see past 4 inches in front of himself without his glasses, and his computer crashing would be considered a tragedy. Though with Mor around, he never had a worry or care about his future or how he was going to feed and dress himself. His thirst for knowledge lent him everything he knows without him needing to even leave the comfort of his room. Of course, trips to school were mandatory, however pointless, and he did, on occasion, dare to venture into the park. His attempts to make friends often ended in failure, but he never gave up hope. He just hadn't met the right people yet, is all. His job aboard the Harbinger also came as a suggestion from his sister. It was both, a grand way to earn money, and a way for Liam to make himself useful in some way.
Field(s) of expertise: Communications officer, computer programmer/technician, and cryptographer.
Pastimes: Being "plugged-in" (adj. When someone has way too many tech devices on their person and is oblivious to reality)
Phobias: Aquaphobia
