I'm sorry Vap, I understand what you mean, and I appreciate the input, but that just doesn't fit in at all what I have planned for them historically. But since I'm such a nice guy, I won't add Humans in, since they would totally clash with Anthros.

Okay, now how fast did everyone want the normally lax Tropi-mod to get violent?
We've had NOTHING BUT anthros all this time, if people want them now, well you should've MADE them during the RP's little baby-steps.
Another thing, are ya'll bugnuts or something? C'mon think about it. What is the "FIRST" impression of man looking at an intelligant .....aaagh uhm... Cat! IT'S A FREAKING CARNIVORE, they're gonna go bugnuts and KILL it. Common sense DICTATES. ((Humans + Carnivore and/or competition for resources = Humans become reeeeeally antsy... and that's the truth. and if it's a herbavore, good god, MORE resources, lookatdat!)
Or it'd just be a case of Youtube and fursuiters....
Yes. I'm very against people trying to now bring in humans just as I was settling with an all-fuzz group.
Now that I've snapped and spat and hissed, and made my point, and now need to lower my blood pressure yet again... *curls back up on the end of her chain leash, in her little doggy-bed and snoozes.*

First off I thought Tropi's edit of Kepora's last post was hilarious. A compromise needs to be made. An RP is nothing without it's players and people want to participate because of the fun they have. You cannot force ideas onto others and disregard what they feel. I have seen that this subject has made everyone upset. Those who are forcing change upon others and do not offer compromise to make everyone as content as possible will most likely find themselves roleplaying alone or simply being ignored as the story continues. Everyone in the Harbinger RP has a part to play and a voice to say where the story will go. If the majority finds that humans in the story disrupt the HE flow than my guess is that it may be the odd man out in terms of what direction the members decide. A piece of this RP belongs to everyone who has a part. What is it that the majority desires?

No, Mizzy, you aren't the only one. I think the majority of the people on here are being way too narrow-minded about having humans. I really don't think it should make that big of a difference to the story at all whether or not there are humans. I see no reason why any humans would have to take over any head position. They might resent it, but the fact of the matter would be that the anthro was chosen. They would just have to deal with it.
As far as breeding goes, I see no reason why there couldn't possibly be little hamlets in places that are still all or mostly all human.
Personally, I think the majority of you are just being plain stubborn, just for the heck of it.

THANK YOU CHELLE. Seriously, sometimes it feels like you guys fight just for the sake of fighting...what difference does it really make? It's an RP in a fictional setting; no matter what reasoning you try to come up with, it's a moot point and a waste of time for everyone who's involved.

Wow, I couldn't have said it better myself, Keppy, we are totally wasting our time here! OSUM!
Does it look like we have nothing better to do but fight with you? Because of this, Vap put her post off for next day and Shani almost didn't post hers.
What we're trying to do is come to a compromise to get to a conclusion and you are being the stubborn one by just telling us off and saying "They are gonna be in whether you like it or not, because they supposedly always have existed". Even the first time you mentioned the humans, except for Elliot, nobody - including the admins - knew about it (in all the times you were in chat with Shani, you never brought up this subject, as well as a few other HE-related subjects, rarely saying more than "hi" and "what's up?").
Even if you consider it a part of your story, to the rest of us, it's an afterthought (even back when you mentioned it 6 months ago it was a "late addition") it's something that has to be voted on by everyone.
No one, from the beginning of the forum, thought that making a human character was even possible and nowhere were they even mentioned on the board. As you told Shani what the allowed species were, you described it as "All existing animals, and no mythological creatures but dragons" but you didn't mention humans, which in anthro roleplays are not considered as animals. In fact, one member did want to have a human(s), but Shani told her it wasn't possible as the rules didn't explicitly state that she could.
Doyle has the right idea. If most of us dislike this "addition", then stop forcing it on us? Otherwise, as Doyle also said, your idea will end up ignored.

Because I have my reasons for being stubborn, as do we all.
Well put, Benny.
Now. Excuse me as I, the chicken, climb out of the tumbler and unruffle my damn feathers.

See, here's the thing; you guys don't give a DAMN about what I have to say unless there's a problem or something you don't like, so to your knowledge I could've mentioned them plenty of times and you wouldn't have noticed. Now, I made a LOT of mistakes when Shani and I started this thing, and one of them was my inactivity. I'm trying to fix that now. Also, they were mentioned on the board prior to this; have you guys even bothered to read Professor Hangar's profile, hm?

Yes, Kep, we DID read the good Doctor's profile, and We WOULD'VE cared if you DID mention it thousands upon thousands of times!
But you DIDN'T, that's why WE'RE upset!
Now if you seriously want to send us totally out of whack, Do sit back on this cleverly designed and conveniantly provided Lawn chair and enjoy the fireworks as alot of us, just. LEAVE and this DAMNABLE freaking RP just DIE, RIGHT when it was just beginning to pick up momentum.
Now do you REALLY want that?

No offense, Kep, but I'm still waiting for an explanation to their existance that makes sense, because I'm still for the humans as aliens idea. Humans and anthropes living on the same planet at this very moment borders on illogical to me for numerous reasons.
Also, mentioning humans in just one place isn't fair to others. That's like justifying an entire conversation because on one word in a feature-length document.

You know, there is one simple solution to this problem that would probably make everyone (well, except me, but I can deal) happy.
Humans exist. They survived somehow. Good, ok. None of them are on the Harbinger, for reasons unspecified. (Most likely because anthros ARE physically superior, passing tests with higher marks than humans?) Continue as normal.
That way, nothing specific for us changes. If someone wants a human later, we go with the previous "alien" approach, with a twist. Maybe an outpost settled on another planet in this solar system. Maybe they DID manage to hit another star and some settled over there. The Harbinger Expedition is DEEP space, not just Alpha Centurai. So all of that could be perfectly possible. We could potentially just pick them up on the way by, or maybe we don't need to touch them at all. Who the hell cares.
I know I'm the one that dragged this out again, but if all you're going to do is throw pissy fits and whatnot, it's just not worth the time and the potential loss. Let's just come to a quick conclusion and DROP IT.

Thank you. It popped into my mind that no matter what your position on a voyage into space, especially in our current time, you need to be in top physical condition. Anthros would pass those tests with flying colors. Yes, even Benny Body type is likely handed down mostly through species, so looks can be deceiving.
