Nah, I wouldn't worry about that. If it's something TOO horrible (like getting into a fight with Darth Vader ) I'll call you on it. Otherwise, the way this is going to be set up, it'll be our own canon. We shouldn't run into too many bumps. The only real issue I can see at this point is if someone chooses a ship that hasn't been created in our time line yet And even that can typically be overlooked as a "prototype model", or even just downgraded. A good deal of ships are just more and more advanced versions, it's easy to backtrack. Anyway, I got a bunch of info up! So I see. I guess everyone will have their own ships then? Might make interaction on a roleplay level pretty tough, I think. Actually, the whole thing seems kind of tough to me without some sort of planning. I mean, we'll be dealing with bunches of characters that have -nothing- to do with one another and the likelihood of them interacting would be scarce, short of a loosely planned plot. Kind of makes me wonder how the online Star Wars game works, actually. Never played it before. >.> Also, without a major plot, people won't have much to do. And 'living out a second life in Star Wars' doesn't sound incredibly appealing. Though I still want to play, but I think some badguys, some evil plans and fair player involvement would be ideal. So... did you have any plans in that regard? X3

There are central meeting areas all over. Cities with markets, cantinas, shipyards, possibly discoveries on planets that bring people running, etc And not everyone has to have their own ship. Mine has a crew of 4, with an extra person, and room for 3 more passengers. Someone can always take a ride xD I'm working on a plot, but it won't be like HE. It'll be overhanging, and effect things, but it's not driving everyone towards the same end.

It'll be overhanging, and effect things, but it's not driving everyone towards the same end. Hum... I'm still a little dubious about the lack of direction. The lack of primary/secondary goals forces players to take significant initiative in getting characters places to do things. And in past experience it's not fared too well in RPs. People without direction tend to flounder. Much like the HE roleplay is doing right now, actually. o.o Everyone is just running around meeting and greeting one another and prolonging introductions that should've been short and sweet. I'm still waiting to move on. >.> I hope what you've got planned at least includes several baddies. I could make one or two, even, if it'll help. I just think it should be a little more story-like and less online game where you run around buying stuff and leveling up. People like stories. Or at least I do. >.>

Of course there's baddies They've been planned. I mean we aren't going to have a strict story, as in "10 years to destination, ilvolving research of everything along the way, etc" like HE is doing. It'll be looser, and more freedom is allowed for the various crews. After all, it's space. There's lots to do in space, with only a bit of imagination. As for big baddies, there will be some imperial officers, force-controlling witches, sith, bounty hunters, an entire corporation, you'd be surprised what I have planned

I've seen the board, but I haven't really looked into it until just now. I'm'a bring back a couple of my old West End Games characters, if it's cool with everyone. X3 Gonna go get workin' on 'em now!

I'm sure that's fine XD And just so everyone knows, yes, the SW RP is still up. You guys could always start a generic RP if you wanted, meeting people in a marketplace or at a ship-parts lot, cantina, whatever.
Life is being a bit hectic for me. I've been around, but distracted. I've also been attempting to get a promotion at work, so yeah, busy busy XD
Like I said, once I flesh out my chars, I'll start a storyline that'll hopefully involve several people.
