And here we see a bear come out of its hole. It appears to be displeased, for in the wilds of the Harbinger, it must now spend time plumbing a toilet after its own big bear ass. Why, "If that narrator keeps on talk'n, Ah'll wring his neck!" the bear thinks to himself! ... Ehm, I'll be going now.
"Bah! Final runs... come for owientation an ooniforms he says." mocked Ben as the PA announcements had passed through the ship. "When the need for me to actually do anytin comes, chances are Ah'll be the first to smell it," he added as he finished bringing the porcelain throne back to working order.
After tossing the plunger into a concealed storage space in the wall, Ben stopped to listen to the muffled echoes of activity going on elsewhere. "Them folks are only this excited now, but we'll be here a long time, an time ain't gonna be kind. But alas, the most exciting part of my day had just passed." Ben remarked as he left to do other things, preferably involving his dobro and ostracism.
((OOC: Try not to roll your eyes while reading this))
A door opened with explosive passion, the plainly clad figure of a beautiful girl was seen emerging swiftly from within the dimly lit quarters, heeding an order of the anxious young voice of the gorgeous genius captain that resonated from an amplifier above.
A mysterious wind veiled gently through the hallways, swaying the golden waves of hair like a summer wheat field. A creamy paw rose to fix a stray strand of hair that danced upon the delicately freckled face. The shining blue-green ocular orbs scanned the cold, hollow hallway, detecting a pair of crew personnel advancing through the metal labyrinth, the frigid echoes of their footsteps reverberating in her sensitive auds.
As the two strangers elapsed her countenance, time seemed to decelerate to a crawl, an infinity passing as the young todd locked those clear, innocent, crystal blue eyes with hers. Roses filled the bunny's cheeks and a soft giggle was released in salutation. Hopping after them, bosom bouncing in her tiny flower-print jacket, the words "Um, excuse me, can you show me the way to the arbitrary-um?" escaped her trembling rosy lips.

((Ack..hope I do this okay...))
"Late. Late!" Ghale rushed down the corridors, hurrying to report and get her uniform. She'd heard Orpeus's order as soon as he gave it, but just couldn't seem to get herself moving. Instead she hung around in a room and fidgeted around with a small electronic game. She was so close to winning! ..And then she died. That's when Orpheus's voice came over the intercom again and she realized - she still hadn't budged.
After swearing and shoving the game in her pocket, she got her tail in gear. She saw a few of the other crew members, but she didn't know any of them. So she passed them with her head turned to the side, as if she was seriously involved in studying the wall. It avoided conversation well enough. She knew she'd meet them again later.
The problem was, she spent so much time trying to avoid any awkward conversation, that she got herself lost. After spinning in a small circle to see where she was, she caught sight of Kalte Lanze and approached him. "Scuse me...I got a bit turned around..can you point me to the Arbortoreum?" She knew she should know her way by now but...it so happened, she still didn't.

!~OOC~! Attention paid to Em, May, Orpheus, Ghale[/u]
Hanger Deck A[/u] Mikari's attention was grabbed rather hastily by the voice of the male Porcupine behind her that had just addressed her as "hon". Having been entirely in her own little mental realm, such a shock was enough to cause her to lift her head suddenly and lightly thump it on the metal hood of the engine bay she was working in. A very soft whimper would be heard as she pried her moderately filth covered face from the compartment, her left eye closed as she rubbed the top of her head. A light blush consumed the cheeks beneath her grey and black fur, as it never looked terribly professional--or impressive--to make such a physical first impression.
"Eh--yes, sir, actually--I was jus' taking a peek at the avionics and that--ya know, making sure everythin' is connected correctly and all the movin' parts are in order..." she responded in a manner that sounded as if she was replying to a cop questioning her about something she may or may not have done. Her next response was to wipe her dirty paws, which caused her to glance to her left and right briefly for a rag on which to do so with. All she could think about now was how ridiculous she must be looking to the first person she had really met on the ship.
Med Bay[/u] Libya's little ears perked up a little bit as soon as May made eye contact and addressed her verbally. She felt kind of silly for not speaking up first, but quickly accepted May's acknowledgment of her presence, as well as her kind demeanor. Little Libya's tail even began to wag slowly back and forth.
"Hmm, yes--you wouldn't happen to be the lead medic, would you?" she asked, turning to reach for something out of the small bag she was carrying with her. "Here is my papers, ma'am, my name is Libya Rivadoza," she replied in an almost timid tone, yet she was quickly warming up to the kindness she saw in May, "I'm here to offer what assistance I can for you and your staff," she added in a polite tone. She was trying her best, after all, to appear as though she was very fit for this job, even though in truth she was scared out of her wits.
Arboretum[/u] Almost immediately after Orpheus had ended his intercom transmission, Darfix had paused just briefly to listen to the message before proceeding forward. In response to the message, he decided it might be best to give a knock rather than to enter as directed. It seemed more appropriate to do so anyway; on top of which, his military training had kept him in a very "protocol" behavior when creating a first impression. He sat outside, waiting to be addressed before replying back.
Starboard Boarding Hatch A[/u] Just as Kalte Lanze began to tear his gaze away from the fine backside of the passing cocker spaniel mix, his eyes turned to fall on the lady skunk addressing him and asking him for directions. A rather subtle, yet twisted smirk took a firm grasp on the shape of his lips as he took a moment to glance down at her.
"The Arboretum, you say? Hmm," he paused a moment as he briefly began to sift through some paperwork on the clipboard he was holding. Sure, he could have easily came into the possession of a PDA to take care of all of his database needs, but it was always more fun to make some people sweat a little by taking up more time to actually look through the paperwork.
"Ms. Sanga is it? I do apologize for having to double check, but you do realize that without confirming this information, I might be forced to frisk you a little before letting you on board..." he said with a softer tone as he leaned down just a little bit and gave her a playful wink. Not even waiting for her to formulate a reply, he smirked confidently and returned to his normal, straight position.
"Just down this hallway, take a left, skip the first right and take the second. It's the room at the end of the hallway, can't miss it, toots." he murmured quickly as if reading an advertisement for a TV commercial. After giving her what she needed, he was quick to place his eyes on his paperwork again. This way, he didn't need to make eye contact if she decided to give him hell for flirting with her a little--
Causeway Outside of Arboretum [/u] Having successfully escaped the wandering eyes of the wolf, Kalte Lanze, Siasia continued down the hall towards the Arboretum. Her step had remained rather casual after withdrawing from Kalte's line of sight and she was gradually approaching the Lieutenant, Darfix Panzer as he knocked at the entrance to the Arboretum awaiting admission to enter.
Upper Decks, Causeway B[/u] Sukira by now had managed to finish her inspection rounds when the next intercom message played over the PA. Sighing with relief, she quickly turned her attention back to the entranceway to the middle decks once again.
While descending the stairs she muttered to herself, "I'm going to give that wolf a piece of my mind if he continues to put me on meaningless assignments like this..."

[May] The kitsune's expression lightened, a gentle nod given as she accepted the papers, "Yes, I am. My name is May Bedleir. A pleasure to meet you, Libya." Leafing through the documents, making sure to note the standards, as well as other things, make a light smirk spread across her features. May's ears perked in interest as she finished, finally handing back the papers, "You're quite the intelligent one. A perfect asset for the medical team." Her golden eyes behind the thin frames noticed the pack, seeing she hadn't gotten settled yet, so with a smirk she added, "Shall I show you your room?"
[Stryke] Stryke helped him up as best as she could, a tad flustered at her clumsiness. "Oh no, it was my fault. Can't hear a damned thing with these headphones." She gave a light chuckle, trying to lighten the conversation, as a hand scratched behind her ear, making the star baubles in her gage jingle. But her ears perked at the introduction, immediately smiling while shaking his outstretched hand, "Ah. Nice to meet yah, Zaos. I'm Stryke. Working in biological."
[Sela] Being a chameleon, she had a nack for slipping by unnoticed. Weaving down the hallways and corridors, she glided past the various crew members silently, making sure to observe everyone. Once reaching the door to the Arboretum, she saw a few people already there and waiting. Hanging back a bit from them, she eased her back against the cold metal of the wall, letting a soft sigh escape.

(OOC: People this post involves: Myself and Vap's character Stryke)
Zaos smiled as the two shook hands. "Nice to meet you Stryke. Biology, huh? Nice, I'm security myself."
He chuckled as he adjusted the headphones around his neck. Smiling he turned down the hall taking a step or two before turning back towards Stryke. "Heading for the arbotoreum I would suppose?"
He motioned a hand ahead of him as he smiled again, his tail swaying back and forth lazily. "If you are we can head there together if you would like. I'm heading there as well."

"Sanga, yea." She confirmed, looking around, only to blink and look right at him as he suggested frisking. She frowned first. But then she realized she didn't have to such a bore and allowed herself a chuckle. "Might not want to frisk me. I might like it and..well..the mission would be delayed."
After taking a second to realize that kind of made her sound like a whore, she turned and started towards the Arboretum. She got there easily enough with said directions, and saw a whoel group hanging out there. She hesitated on going forward. She knew she had to but...
She paused at the door by Sela. She said nothing yet though, unsure if she should speak to the other, or even if she wanted to. Then, she tentatively stepped into the room and approached the others quietly.

((Attention paid to Fizz and Solomon. If I missed someone, say something! Also, short post. Still feeling crappy and braindead x.x))
Elliot glanced behind her as she rushed through the halls, dashing past various people, and spotted Fizz close behind her. She laughed, bouncing off a wall and waving...upside-down...back to her. "Betchya can't catch me, slowpoke!"
Kat nodded. "I was a deep invasive surgeon. Difficult work, and so I signed up to have this little 'upgrade' here." She lifted her arm, showing off the finely tuned robotic work of art. "It just so happened that I was going to recover just in time to join the crew, and so I applied. I suppose they needed a surgeon as there was very little interview." She blinked, eyes shifting from feline to red and then very quickly back again. "Your device is wanting your attention."

The blue-haired Thylacine boy known as Kaien looked around, still stunned by the beauty of the Arbortoreum; this little piece of home packed up in the dome on top of the ship felt like part of a massive park instead of what was originally to be a warship. After exiting the main "lobby"-which had vendors for food and drink, as well as restrooms and changing rooms-he walked out onto the stone pathway, the entire floorplan befor ehim larger than a football field. rolling, lush green hills, tall healthy trees-a few of them fruit-bearing-a fountain in the center of the large social area, and-near the back-even an artificial beach, a raking system currently sifting through the white sands to pick out debris and keep the beashes renewed, the generated waves wearing downa t them bit by bit. The artificial sunin the sky felt warm and was bright liek the real sun their home orbited around, but the fact that you wouldn't burn almost made it better than the real thing. He spotted a familiar hyena standing in front of the large fountainin the social area, darting over and sitting on oen of the stone benches, admiring the beauty, watching as a few butterflies and even a feral bird or two flutter by. Ghale and him really outdid theireselves here...

[Stryke] Her ears perked up a tad as he offered her to join him, a light smirk curling the edge of her lips while nodding, "Sure!" With little hedgehog tail wagging delightfully behind her she fell in step beside the canid hybrid. "By the way, want some candy?" She asked as they walked, pulling open one side of her lab coat to show a collection of hidden pockets stuffed with all sorts of sweets, though most of them fruity sorts instead of chocolate. "I've got tons." She smiled happily, red tinted tongue poking out playfully from her lollipop.
[Sela] The chameleon's gaze shifted to Ghale as she entered the area where most of the crew was now waiting, her placid expression now smiling kindly to the skunkette. Pushing herself from the wall she followed behind the others into the Arbortoreum, which both amazed and intrigued her. "Wow..." She said softly in awe at the sheer beauty of it all. With mind now taking in gentle smells of the grass, trees, water, and air it was so hard to believe they were inside.

Zaos smiled examining Stryke's surprising collection of candy hidden in her lab coat. He chuckled as he spotted a stick of rock candy, grabbing it and beginning to savor it slowly. "This will do nicely."
He laughed as he and Stryke turned a corner spotting a few more crew members entering the Arbortoreum up ahead. "Here we go!"
He smiled at Stryke as they continued on down the hall towards the Arbortoreum entrance, stopping short as he reached the door, sighing for a moment. "Looks like this means the real fun begins from here on out." He smirked as he walked in.

Plants. Plants. More plants. Luckily, he wasn't the kind to be hoarded with allergies. If he was, this would be a problem area. His black round ears poked over a large bush. He had to take the one entrance that everyone else didn't. He might be a navigator, but he wasn't very good with overgrown areas such as this one. I knew I should've stayed on the trail instead of taking these darn shortcuts... he thought. He pushed aside another bush and saw the others and sighed. He walked up and gave a small salute, "Aggabalt Bushuyev, reporting in." Hopefully that would be all he would have to say.
Aggabalt isn't too tall, but not too short. He stood out from his hair being a dark purple and his fur color being white with back spots. It was an odd combination. Most people believed he dyed it, but it was his natural color. He looked around at the plants, his yellow eyes darting around. It wasn't that he was easily distracted, it was that he liked the various typed of plant life. He didn't see all the different typed back in Northern Russia. He was used to seeing either snow, or grass.

((OOC: Attn: Mikari, Connie. I'll reply for the rest later.)
"Woah, careful there," laughed the male porcupine; he didn't mean to startle her like that. As she was explaining herself, he couldn't help but think how cute-looking she was and wouldn't think of reprimanding her, for it looked like she was doing a good job. Seeing as things had taken on too much of a formal atmosphere, which he didn't like as it made him feel like some old schoolteacher, he interrupted, "No need to tell me what you were up to, we're all equal on this ship. Speaking of which, you can call me Em. Here," Emmanuel reached into his back jeans pocket to pull out a rag for Mikari to use. It took him a few tugs to free it and he handed it to her with a couple of quills, hastily removing them in hopes that she wouldn't notice. Feeling a spot of grease on his face, he wiped it with the back of his paw, but instead, ended up smearing it to gross proportions. "Well, we better get goin'. Don't wanna be the last ones there," he said. His friends, Ben and Nellie, must've already been waiting there, he thought.
Shani froze at the sound of a voice and turned to face the bubbly rabbit. The hyena was dumbstruck by the sugary angelic aura this girl spewed out and she could barely think of what to say for directions. "What... the way..." Shani stuttered in a muted tone. Some "psychologist" she was turning out to be. "We're going zere now," interjected Ilya. "You can come with us." He took her paw and resumed walking, now with a lady at each side. Shani sighed, half in relief, half in embarrassment, and walked along, feeling like the kid in the group. Once they arrived at the Arboretum, where there was quite an assembly formed already, Ilya let go of their hands and stood at attention as he was used to doing in the facility he lived in. Shani, on the other hand, only grew more nervous.

The slipping and sliding fire ant clicked in a sort of childish dejection to the Lemur's teasing "Well it's no fair that ya'll are bouncy and flexible and.. and... and... And Stuff!" now she skuttled along moodier than when she left the engine room... the nice, toasty... less waxed... engine room.
Edmund however, was not so quick to catch up, letting Seven past, as he didn't want to end up a light, a probably tasty snack.
Sol removed her breathing apperatus, opening her mouth several times to stretch the tendons back to a more workable status "Yes, yes it does." she clicked it off "Needs to be refilled, nothing much, really, the water in my lungs should be sufficiant for now." she continued, stoping at a door, she set down the box and punched in a keycode, opening the door and pushing in the crate of medicines, stepping out and punching in another keycode to close it. She turned to look at Kat. "Shall we go now?" her right arm outstretching and candycane-colored fingers motioning towards the Arbotorium.
As Sol said this, Dalvis lumbered past, giving a nod of recognition to the two medical officers as she did so, wagging her fluffy tail a moment and continuing on her way.

!~OOC~! Attention paid to Em, May, Orpheus[/u] Hanger Deck A[/u] Mikari curiously glanced down at the rag that Em had offered her as soon as he spoke of it. That certainly made things easier than having to look for one. She nodded her head promptly as she cleansed her pawsies as best she could with the rag, listening as he spoke about their equality on the ship, as well as the meeting they were to be attending. "Ah--right, yes, actually, I haven't received a map yet so I am oblivious as to where it is--would it be too much t' ask if you could lead me there?" she questioned him as she finished up with the rag. She went to hand it back to him but stopped half way as she noticed how filthy it now was. A light, nervous smile consumed her features as she hoped he might not notice or care much about that. Med Bay[/u] Libya couldn't help but to blush a little at the complement she received from May. It always felt nice for one as humble and modest as she to be told that she is also intelligent. The little mix nodded promptly as May made note of the back pack. "Oh, I didn't mean to bring all of my belonging in right away, I just did not know where my room was, is all--" she responded in her meek voice. "I would, very much appreciate it if you were to show me my room, ma'am," she added, bowing her head ever so slightly in a show of respect. Arboretum[/u] !~!~!(OOC: Darfix is still waiting for a reply from Orphy that he did not get My turn to post, huh?)!~!~![/u][/i] Having reached the Arboretum, Siasia decided to form up in the line that was building up outside the door as Darfix awaited a reply from Orpheous. Starboard Boarding Hatch A[/u] Kalte Lanze grinned in a mischievous manner at the behavior that the female skunk had displayed to him. He only nodded for her quickly as she darted away again. However, he had no problem with glancing over his shoulders for another quick shot of her backside... Coincidently, Sukira actually had to pass by Kalte Lanze's post to get to the Arboretum. She did her best to do so in the quietest fashion possible, knowing--and smelling his presence. However, as she tip toed down the stair case to his level, she heard his voice. "Sukira, my girl, how was the inspection on the upper decks?" the male wolf asked of the coyote. Sukira ground her teeth together and came to a halt, before turning to face the wolf. "Just dandy--very peaceful, quiet, and boring," she replied rapidly, "Now if you don't mind, sir, I need to get to the Arboretum..." she said in a persistent manner, continuing on her way once more. Kalte Lanze sneered, a twisted grin taking shape on his maw as he turned to eye her assets before she left as well. He turned back to his clip board and made a few "stars" next to the names of the females he had met that day.

Zaos smiled as he walked into the arbotoreum, looking around he spotted the other members of the crew who had gathered so far, standing down the path. Taking a deep breathe he began walking down the path. "This should definitely prove an interesting trip."
Laughing to himself as he drew closer he walked slightly off the path. Leaning against a tree, he faced the crew members, slipping his headset back on over his ears. "May as well enjoy myself while I wait."
Zaos smirked, switching on the music, as he began to tap his foot to the music, closing his eyes and bobbing his head to the beat of the techno song that began to play he crossed his arms in front of his chest, smiling warmly. "An interesting trip indeed."
He mumbled under his breathe as he enjoyed the sweet bass of the song.
