Full Name: Cuauhtémoc Alejandro Ochoa
Honorifics/Nicknames: His first name is usually overlooked in full, so he responds far faster to "Alex" or any variant. Lobo calls him "Cachorro", Spanish for pup.
Gender: Male
Age: 17
Birthday: January 5th
Height: 5' 4"
Weight: 135 lbs.
Species: Mexican Grey Wolf (Canis lupus baileyi)
Eye color: Green
Fur color: A nice variety of browns, greys, etc... you know, what comes with being a Mexican Grey Wolf
Hair color: Black
Markings: He has a birthmark on his belly, though it's not clearly visible due to his fur. Aside from that, nothing really.
General Appearance: He has a lean yet masculine build. The black fur on his head, which would be the equivalent to our hair, is made up of tight curls. He goes about in navy cargo shorts and a plain tshirt with a black, long-sleeved turtle neck underneath. He also wears dog tags.
Cyberization: None. See Phobias...
Vernacular: Unlike his brother, Alex did not grow up in the Spanish colony. He was born after his parents moved to a Southern English-speaking town. His accent is mainly a Southern drawl, using slang to its fullest. He speaks fluent Spanish and has this light accent affecting his "Howdys" and "Y'alls" every now and then. The Spanish accent is described as "Regiomontano".
Personality: Alex is as loud-mouthed and disrespectful as a kid can get. He speaks before he thinks, unknowingly spewing out offensive words even if he doesn't mean to. He holds himself responsible for this, and really tries to hold back his tongue every now and then, leading to awkward conversations with others. He's jittery and usually tries to avoid direct contact with people he doesn't know.
He's dreadfully shy, and has no history of approaching others. This only applies to people he absolutely does not know. To anyone who he has built at least a shred of confidence, Alex proves to be a loose cannon. He's cheery and more often than not, childish. Known by friends and family as the local "Cotorro", Alex talks and talks and talks. This is one of the many reasons why he's failing his classes. Without the grades to prove it, many underestimate Alex's intelligence. No, he isn't a super genius. But he's pretty smart, especially for someone who's presence makes you think otherwise.
Very good public speaker. He's unusually gifted in the area of improvising nearly everything. He loves ad-libbing.
On the down side, he has horrible patience and a very short temper. He's easily annoyed, especially by people who have little or no appreciation for humor... and constant, rhythmic noises... like the faucet dripping. He has no sense of where to draw the line when it comes to taking things seriously. Alex also has trust issues. No, it's not that he doesn't trust anyone... he's hard to trust. His mind revolves over a more important thing: himself. He'll forget promises he has made to others. Most of the time, he doesn't mean to. His brain works too fast to be able to keep up with.
History: Most of his childhood was spent in his brother's shadow. He wasn't the best of the 'Ochoa' children. In fact, he was the worst. No, he wasn't stupid or anything... it was his behaviour that labeled him as so. However, this didn't make him develop hatred for his brother or sisters, on the contrary... this brought him closer to them, especially his older brother. As a pup, he always was found next to his brother. He looked up to him as a hero.
By the age of ten, Alex found himself as the only male in the household. His brother was off in the Air Force, or something, and his father, too. He decided to follow in the family footsteps; his family had a history of becoming top officers in the Air Corps and such... He went to a magnet school of applied technologies, taking Aviation as his primary course. He didn't do at all well in everyday assignments. However, he did prove to be an excellent test-taker and good memorization skills. Name him any plane or spacecraft, he'll tell you the engine it carries, the year modeled, etc.
Now, he finds himself at the perfect age to join the military organization. He has already passed his physical exam, however basic training does not start until the school term is over. He hates waiting, so to pass the time, and get in a little on-field experience before heading off, he joined the Harbinger Expedition... even if it was as a janitor. He wants to see what his brother does and maybe even learn a little more. Since this is his major reason why he joined the Expedition, Alex might need a little pushing around in order to get his job done. Maybe even a little surveillance, curiosity might get the best of him.
Field(s) of expertise: Not that it requires an expert to be a janitor...
Pastimes: Not anything constructive, that's for sure.
Phobias: Deciophobia- Fear of making decisions. He feels extremely pressured. He spends thirty minutes even choosing the ice cream he's going to eat. Almost always in a cold sweat.
Frankenstein complex - The colloquial term for "fear of robots". It all started with a traumatizing experience with a Furby doll.
