I still want to be with the traders, but I may join with a much different character. ADHD means my attention span for the same char, waiting, does not exceed a month at most =P

No problem, unless you try switching characters mid-scene.
And yes, I'm back and fine. With a bit of work, I'll get this RP moving again. Probably right after Christmas, so you'll have some entertainment on holidays.

We'll try to get our post done as soon as we can as well! And agreed, no switching characters mid-scene Have the previous leave or die first.

Well, that won't be a problem, since my previous character already left, and I hadn't introduced the new character yet anyway. So its more switching the char that I was going to intro, anyway. :3

Tuesday I posted a thread on a survival forum I am a member of to get feedback on gear my player-character Jeanette has on her and things other than gear: being physically, mentally and emotionally prepared. The Nobody found the feedback interesting. Here is the link in case anyone is interested: forums.equipped.org/ubbthreads.php?ubb=showflat&Number=216879&page=1Jeanette Isabelle

I am just not used to waiting -months- to post. I cannot hold my interest for that long, thus I completely lost interest in it. I blame Bennie Have fun without me, and if you want to talk to me, come here: xat.com/web_gear/chat/go_large.php?id=101742816I am on it if I am on my computer. That is all.

You people are MAD! 3 characters. THREE are roasting some where in the wastes, and their players have been waiting a while to join... and you're spending more time, delaying those people from joing even more.... for a CARD GAME...?
Madness! Sparta will hear about this!

As I work on the back story, I am also working on the gear of my player-character Jeanette who has not been introduced yet. As a reminder, Jeanette, along with the gear she has, is transported from 2010 to 2050. For a while I have considered a vehicle that will travel with her . . . with mixed feelings. Recently I believe I have come up with the right solution, a 1996 Ford F-250 with a 300ci I6 engine. The 1996 is the last year of the seventh generation. The seventh generation F-Series truck would be easy to modify in 2050 to fit that setting. I want the I6 engine because it is durable, easy to fix and modify. It has good gas millage for the low-end torque it provides. 1996 is also the last year for the I6. Also, the F-150 is a medium-duty truck. Whereas the F-250 and up are heavy-duty trucks, something which would come in handy if I decide to convert the truck to a Type I Ambulance after the trek. I have talked to Arik about reasonable modifications I can make to the truck prior to the unplanned time warp to 2050 and these are what he suggested: Royal Purple engine oil Slick 50 oil treatment K&N air filter Platinum spark plugs If anyone has suggestions to make the truck last longer, improve fuel efficiency and improve horse power, let me know. Pretty simple, actually. Two things: Diesel engine, they never seem to wear out Maybe make the truck a Hilux, those things are darn near indestructable.
